BB Radio – Geschlechterduell App

Description

Promotional game for BB Radios regular quiz show „Geschlechterduell(Genderduel)“ done in 2017. The quiz was made with Unity3D and has 3 different available play modes. A single-player mode for men and women, and a third one for couples. In the game, the user has to answer a series of multiple choice questions about the opposite sex. After answering all questions the results get evaluated. The background graphics were done by an agency, everything else by me. BB Radio uses the quiz game Genderduel at live events as a promotion tool. Players can win small prices on site. The questions and answers are saved in a JSON file, and get readout and randomized during runtime via script.

Unity3D – 3D Pacman Prototype

Description

A humble 3D Pacman prototype game that incorporates the traditional Pacman as a Minimap. After attending a programming class in Unity3D at School 4 Games, I was given the task to develop a functional 3D Pacman game. Made in 2012, this became my first Unity project that was actually playable. Even though most code was copied-and-pasted, this project helped getting a first taste for code. I also drew the Minimap. All other art assets are from the Unity Asset Store.

BB Radio – Buzzer Counter

A buzzer button counter App, that counts the attending people at BB Radio live events. Every thousand person triggers a digital firework and wins a prize. Although the app being a simple project, this marked a personal milestone for me. The buzzer App is my first commercial project being used in a real use case.
I know i should have changed the font:)

Pixel Art – Samoa Joe

Wrestling Pixel Art - Samoa Joe
Pixel Art of Wrestler Samoa Joe

I decided to try out some wrestling Pixel Art. After reading a couple of tutorials I jumped right into it.
It was a time consuming process, but the result is very rewarding. Because every pixel has to be thought out, this was a good lighting lesson in general. I am not satisfied with some of the jagged outlines, so next time I definitely will try out some anti-aliasing and pay more attention to fluent lines.
